  • common tests: blood tests, CT scan (aka "catscan"), MRI scan, gastroscopy, colonoscopy
  • differences between ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease
  • the role of a gastroenterologist compared to a family physician
  • how IBD differs from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or an infection
