Ustekinumab

Ustekinumab is a recently approved medication (September 2016) for use in adults with moderately to severely active Crohn’s disease. It is a newer class of biologic, with a unique mechanism of action. It may be given to you if other drugs, such as corticosteroids, immunomodulators, or other biologics of the anti-TNF class, have not worked or are not suitable.
